Grrr....

Spammers make me *so* angry. I spent far too long this morning cleaning up from my latest attack. Some sleeze-ball added his website url--which I did not click over to in fear of what I might see there--to many of the entries in my blog. Unfortunately my (outdated) software does not allow me to delete comments en masse. I should upgrade or use that blogger account that I have...

Oh well. It's still better than the way I used to blog--back in the day.

I've been thinking a lot about spring clothing and trying to decide what might be nice to wear. They keep it so cold in my office once they turn on the A/C, that I want to be almost as covered as I am during the winter. That means shoes and socks--jackets, even. Then, you step outside into the sweltering heat with all that on and you're immediately drenched with sweat.

It's hard to be the flower of Southern womanhood in this environment!

(Forgive me--I'm listening to one of those trashy-Southern novels where the hero's accent just drips. It's so trashy I'm embarrased to tell you the name of it. Let it suffice to say that the author is Nora Roberts and I had to fast forward through a large portion of cassette 11! <blush>)

Many of the fabrics that I've collected this spring have been in the lavendar-periwinkle-blue family. There are two bottom-weights and several blouse-weights in the group. I'm thinking of designing a small capsule and calling it something like "Miss Daisy meets Microsoft."

The April/May issue of Threads has a great article on building your own wardrobe collection. You might glean some new ideas from it. Also, Vogue sewing magazine always shows coordinated sets - I love what they do because they are fashion forward without being extreme.
