Another Cozy Pinnie

Cozy Pinnie #2 is on the hanger.

This is another from Ottobre Woman 5/09, #10.  I like it very much, but I’m thinking my need for jumpers is at an end with this one.  I’ve got to find something wear with it besides a white blouse, but that’s another story.

This one is exactly like the previous one with two changes:

  1. There are no separate facings.  I simply lined to the edge and applied the interfacing to the fashion fabric.  Sewing the facing to the  lining was an unnecessary PITN, IMO.
  2. I took a slight tuck above the back waist to shorten it there.  I can tell no difference really, though I’ve not spent a great deal of time studying the back of this one to see how the hem hangs.  I know the other one hangs longer in the back, hence the alteration.

Yesterday I put it on after my shower to take a photo, and the next thing I knew it was dinnertime.  (I still hadn’t taken the photo.)

It’s very comfortable to wear.  :-)

    Cute. Merry Christams.

Very nice! It would look fabulous with a dark colored turtleneck. Uh oh–there’s more sewing!

  3. You look cozy :) Hey, there are a plethora of other blouses and colours to wear it with, but they’d probably be of dubious taste (yellow, orange, red…). The crisp white blouse is so classic, and that neckline frames your face beautifully.
